This mains powered 1U subrack utilises the same identification recording technology as the 2U-007. It has two channels of Identification, each of these channels records a mono signal the output of which is reproduced as a stereo signal.
Features:
- Stereo line ident
- Up to 25 seconds recording
- Plus 3 seconds of 1kHz tone or stereo GLITZ tone
- Stereo audio inputs
- Changeover relay
- Front panel mic
- Headphone monitoring
There are three playback modes each one continuously repeated:
- One: Up to 25 seconds of speech
- Two: Up to 25 seconds of speech followed by 3 seconds of tone.
- Three: Up to 25 seconds of speech followed by stereo GLITZ Tone.
Each channel has a balanced audio input, this audio input can be switched via a relay to the audio outputs instead of the recorded identification message. Control of the changeover relay is done via a rear panel 9 way ‘D’ socket, start and stop of playback can also be controlled via this D socket.
Monitoring is provided by an inbuilt headphone amp and recording can be done either by a front panel microphone or from an external line level input.
