The PS-4001 power supply supplies four (4) isolated channels of intercom system phantom power to down line components. Use the PS-4001 as a stand alone power supply to supply four (4) independent partyline channels. Or, use it in conjunction with an ES-4000A expansion station to create additional intercom channels when using a US-2002/PS-2001L or US-2002/SPS-2001 Master Station configuration. The PS-4001 can operate in either balanced or unbalanced mode, making it completely Clear-Com compatible.
Features:
- Instantaneous Auto-Reset Instantaneous Auto Reset (IAR), the newest technology in performance and safety, which uses a revolutionary new circuitry that dynamically monitors line fault conditions. Then, when the fault is removed, automatically brings individual power supply channels up. Channel Status indicators are used to show status; green for normal operation and red to warn of an overload or short circuit. The system resets itselfonce the overload or short circuit is corrected.
- Connector to ES-4000A.This connector carries power to the ES-4000A expansion station, and carries the four (4) audio channels of the ES-4000A. When a ES-4000A is connected to the PS-4001, each of the four (4) channels of audio is broken out to the respective channel connector.
- Intercom Channel Connectors carry power to the intercom system and provide termination for the audio signal of each intercom channel.
- Balanced and Unbalanced Selector Switch gives the user the choice to configure the unit for use in either an RTS Audiocom (Balanced) or Clear-Com (Unbalanced) system. The default setting is for balanced.
Channel Status Indicators
